• WMGSO was founded in the summer of 2012 by alumni of the Gamer Symphony Orchestra at the University of Maryland. WMGSO gave its first concert in 2014. (Click here to view concert programs and photos from past concerts.)

• Our Music Director is Jamin Morden, and our Choir Director is Anthony Khong.

• WMGSO performances have been held in venues throughout the D.C. area.

• While all music performed comes from video games, the sheet music isn’t for sale - we arrange most of our music in-house.

• There are approximately 150 musicians in the ensemble, and we are always looking to expand.

• We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
